40 Years of Manufacturing, Plastics, Product design,
R&D Development, and Management, Experience...
The Founder and CEO, Veronica Janice worked in the manufacturing field since 1980 where they manufactured injection molds for the plastics and die-cast industries. After years of hands on mold making, she later moved into designing molds and added product development and manufacturing management experience to her list of experiences and accomplishments.
launching her own engineering firm in 1997, Original Concepts Design, Inc. successfully operated for 12 years. When she recognized a need for broader depth of manufacturing management experience and challenges, the engineering was not giving her, she said "I figured I could struggle and build these services into my current business or learn and get experience on someone else's dime".
She went on to manage the Mechanical Engineering and Tool room departments for a major LED personal lighting company before leaving in August 2019 and starting VG Creatives, LLC, a design and manufacturing company bringing her own products to market.
The Culmination of 40 years’ experience in the plastics, tooling, product design & development, Mold design, Engineering and Engineering Department management, tool room management, and project management complete and through to launch, has given her the insight, expertise and ability to succeed in launching and sustaining a successful business of manufacturing quality products.

After graduating from John K Ossi, Vocational technical school with Machining /Tool & Die training in Medford NJ at 17 years old, Veronica Janice went searching for a job one day to get away from the production facility sweatshop she worked at after school and weekends.
"I decided I was going to get a new job and went out to apply at the local tool and die shops. After the third or 4th place I applied at, I went into a tool shop in Somerdale NJ and after the interview and the application, the owner said, ‘Come back in a few weeks when you turn 18 and we’ll see if we have something available.’ As I had my hand on the doorknob and without hesitation turned and looked at the owner of the company and said, I don't think that's going to happen, I plan of having a job by the end of today. He then said you're HIRED, but you can't start until you turn 18. Works for me, I said!"
The background and experience became an invaluable tool for the future of her career as a manufacturer. In 1989, she helped set up their first 3D CAD system and CNC machining. After 13 years there, she left for an advanced position with a different Tool & Die facility, then in Deptford NJ.
"I wanted to be a mechanical engineer so I could travel and work from anywhere in the world" . By doing more product development and engineering services and no longer wanting to get all gritty in the shop, she created a company, quit her job and hired herself as a Mechanical Engineer. Ultimately traveling around the world, working and managing multiple products at once, goal achieved.
With 17 years of Design and Manufacturing background, she founded Original Concepts design, Inc. which she owned and operated for 12 years, having a hand full of employees and providing a complete line of engineering services to major companies and inventors alike.
Throughout her career, the experiences have covered design and implementation of: Consumer, Industrial, medical, automotive, Military and tactical gear, personal LED lighting from sheet metal, plastics, Die casting, Mold design, Mold building, plastics processing, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Mold flow Analysis (Plastics prediction and simulations) in addition to the managerial experiences she developed. An eye for quickly troubleshooting issues through Root Cause analysis became second nature.
"Root Cause analysis is like a game of hide and seek, it’s interesting and fun to figure it out," said she.
"Someone once told me, if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. I work all the time, but have a lot of fun doing it so I guess its true"
When asked what’s next, what is it about VG Creatives that you enjoy, she answered:
Its about creating quality products. Far too often as a product development engineer, I get to see what should have or could have been done to make a good product excellent and well worth the price.
VG Creatives, LLC products have the entire 40 years of knowledge and experience put into them.
